The Benny Hill Show featured Benny Hill in mostly short sketches (often portraying a protagonist), along with Thames Television show regulars Henry McGee, Bob Todd, Jackie Wright, Nicholas Parsons (in the early years), Jenny Lee-Wright, Sue Bond, Lesley Goldie, Cherri Gilham, Rita Webb and others. Hill often demonstrated his versatility as an actor by appearing in vastly different costumes as well as in female character. Slapstick and double entendre were his hallmark.

Never broadcast in full-length form in the US, the only way to see these vintage episodes of The Benny Hill Show in their entirety is through this DVD collection. The Early Naughty Years: Set 1 features all 11 uproarious episodes from 1969-1971, including the three rare installments filmed in black-and-white!
