In the jungle of southeastern Asia is an overproduction wheel on the Vietnam War with several stars: Kirk Lazarus (Robert Downey Jr.), An intense actor three times Oscar winner; Portnoy Jeff (Jack Black), star of a popular movie saga and rude, Alpa Chino (Brandon T. Jackson) star hip-hop got a player, and rookie Kevin Sandusky (Jay Baruchel). But as the shooting goes, everything that could go wrong, goes wrong. Everybody complain about the conditions of work. The situation goes from bad to worse, especially for the director of the tape, Damien (Steve Coogan). So much so that his distribution of stars just left in the middle of the jungle. They believe that Damien will continue filming with hidden cameras, but the fact is that the Jungle is a real war. Thus, the players should do anything that would make his characters, and above all, behave as Authentic soldiers if they want to get out of this hell alive.

Description:

A film crew is in Southeast Asia filming a Vietnam-war memoir. It’s early in the shooting, but they’re already behind schedule and over budget. On the day an accident befalls the novice director, the cast and crew are attacked by a gang of poppy-growing local drug dealers, except the cast and crew don’t realize these aren’t actors who are stalking them. The thugs kidnap Tugg Speedman, an actor whose star seems on the decline, and it’s up to the rest of the ragtag team to band together long enough to attempt his rescue. But will Tugg want to leave?
